Scholarly Archives
The Scholarly Archives designation covers materials of primary research value rather than works intended for sale. This includes sketchbooks, notebooks, preparatory studies, studio ephemera, correspondence, photographs, press, and time-based media such as audio cassettes.
These materials are stewarded in partnership with the Cape Ann Museum (Gloucester, MA), coordinated with Trenton Carls. Physical custody is placed with the Museum; catalog records remain in this site so researchers can discover and cite them.
